MaxGunsIssue - While the SPC 6.8 offers more power, many organizations and shooters still use 5.56mm NATO. If you really wan at short rifle kind of short rifle that look a like a pistol, LWRC IC-PSD have a reasonable gas piston system to improve reliability, especially it has barrel shorter than 10 inches. Fortunately, LWRC has you covered there too, with his IC-PSD.
IC-PSD is using LWRC UCIW Stock kit, which I find a bit more comfortable to work on patrol. UCIW Stock kit will also better than I expected in full kit.

IC-PSD is equipped with a 8.5 inch tough barrel, a 1-in-7-inch and chambering in 5.56 NATO. The top Picatinny rail equipped with a LWRC’s Skirmish flip-up sights and shooters can customize in it by adding a side and down guard rail as needed. Low receiver has fully ambidextrous controls, including security, bolt and magazine press release. It weighs only 5.9 pounds PDW-IC is one of the most obvious side effects exist, even with gas piston operating system.

Time span

When tested on Range, the IC-PDW is impressive during the fire that it quickly under control when still or moving. I use the ammunition of 55 grain FMJ to 77 grains OTM, and all of that I tested works. 70 grain Barnes TSX proven to be very precise while reaching the level of 2400 frames per second. The Recoil was soft, although the blast explosion was big enough. Adding Troy Claymore muzzle brakes help to calm down a bit in this regard.
If your agent in the market for a proven rifle with a short overall length, be sure to check out the IC-LWRC’s PDW. It may be small but very capable. At shoota your target.
